SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER Roles & Responsibilities
- Promotes a positive sales and service team aspect in the company while acting in a professional manner.
- Demonstrates competence in management, networking, target marketing to specific prospects, and have advanced selling skills, along with the ability to mentor a team to those same disciplines.
- Effectively lead, develop and support the sales team of the Company to meet and/or exceed sales plans and profitability targets.
- Prospects for new customers via phone, networking, cross-selling and referrals, and by canvassing for large potential customers in industries such as Construction, Oil & Gas, Marine, Aviation, Healthcare, Logistics, Manufacturing, and all Government and Private companies with multiple physical locations and create new business at the local and regional levels through creative calls, leads, prospecting, and referrals.
- Servicing and provide support to existing clients as well as establishing new customers base.
- Make Company Presentation to potential customers through in-person presentations and electronic communications.
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for an assigned group of Key client accounts with responsibility for retention and growth.
- Ensure clients drive maximum value from our service
- Prepare implementation plan and lead client on boarding, Participate and present annual sales plan
- Work closely with clients to identify needs including content approval workflows and consult on best practices for solutions.
- Regularly evaluate quality of content, managing external content creation, editorial and strategy resources.
- Identify new opportunities from within accounts, partnering with the accounts managers team to aid in increasing revenue.
- Ensure a deep enough understanding of client’s individual experiences to head off potential issues before they become problems.
- Work closely with Head of Strategy and Business Development manager and Operations on Day to Day operational processes including Mobilization set up; Idles on board; trafficking, optimization, Problems at site.
- Communicate and work in parallel with the Finance/Collections department on payment related issues.
- Coordinate with other Department Managers / Staff, to ensure speed and quality of service delivery to both new and existing customers; assists in resolving various customer issues.
- To liaise at all times with all team members and work as a team to reach the targets set by the Department / Company.
- Adhere to a proper business work ethic and create a similar expectation of your reports/peers.
- Ensure market coverage to touch all opportunities available within various segments on a scheduled basis.
- Maintain accurate up-to-date sales pipeline and forecasts.
